I know that there are different layouts but the voltmeter on ours (2001 boat) is on a panel that is held in place by screws accessed from the front. I guess yours must be different if you need to get behind it from the fwd heads. I have tried to attach a photo - if yours is the same there isn’t access from the heads compartment.As far as the panel in the heads ours is held on by Velcro and there is a tab at the top that allows you to pull it out. Assuming it is held in place by Velcro then getting something with a blade in the gap to prise it off might be an option.
