Thanks Simon it's and early hardy pilot 20 1986.

With what you have said I agree if it goes bow down the leg will clear.

Thanks for your help I will give it a try ????

Hi Joshua,
Depending on the keel the depth of keel, if it is a earlier Hardy Pilot with a deeper keel, the boat will go bows down and the aft end will rise up and the engine leg will be clear of the bottom. if it is a later model Hardy Pilot then you should be okay as well as the boat will lay over to one side or the other and the engine leg will be still clear. This is as long has you fully raise the engine up as far as the trim will let you go on the engine.

Regards

* Hi All, I'm new to the group having only had my hardy pilot 20 for a few weeks.

I've taken the Boat from Southampton to the isles of scilly.

I was wondering if my boat can take to ground if the leg is fully raised. I tried to work this out when the boat was out of the water. And it was too close to call. I couldn't quite tell if she would clear.

Thanks in advance Josh.
