Hi everyone

So, I'm having a look at our Facebook page - look for Hardy Owners Club and you should find it easily. I'm not a Facebook expert by any stretch and it does look like the functionality on the business Meta sites is not quite as user friendly as it could be so it is going to take me a little while to get my head around it (if there are any experts out there, please get in touch so I can pick your brains!)

It certainly looks like any posts by non-HOC admin on the 'Posts' page have to be approved but I believe you can post in the Community section freely, so it may be that we keep the structure that the Posts are HOC admin ones - you can all comment freely on them though - and members post on the Community page for now until I work it out.

So apologies if there are members out there who have tried to post but it hasn't appeared, this looks to be the reason but I will work through it.

Non members can also follow and post on our page - I have also fixed the sign-up button today so that it links directly to the 'Join the HOC' page, we may even encourage new members here too.

I plan to use Facebook to post the information that I get from the Cruising Assocation, RNLI and any other useful information that drops into the membership secretary's inbox.

I'm happy to take any feedback, either here or on the Facebook page so please let me know what you think and any ideas you may have.

thanks
Angie, Membership Secretary
