Many thanks for your interest and help Peter. The filler is on the port side deck and the tank is behind some modifications that have been made in the wheelhouse which makes access a bit difficult but, as you say, taking measurements is probably the only sure way of calculating capacity. It will be a work in progress!

48 Imp gallons if the catalogue figure applies to your boat but there's no guarantee that Hardy didn't change the tank dimensions between publishing the catalogue and building your boat. If the 25 is anything like the 27, no two boats are the same! Can you get sufficient access to the tank to measure its dimensions and then convert its cubic capacity to gallons?

Thank you Peter. I am assuming it is 2191 litres - roughly 45 gallons in 'old speak'! Would you think that's right?

The Hardy catalogue in the library of this HOC website says 219 l .

Just getting to know our Hardy 25 and fitting a new fuel gauge. Does anyone know how much the fuel tank actually holds?
