Ahoy Nick and Sue and welcome aboard the HOC, lovely boat by the way!

I assume you haven't tried contacting the new Hardy boat owners to see what has been transferred across when they purchased Hardy marine, they may have some original drawings layouts? As you say, many boats will have different specs/layouts etc, so there may not be a ‘generic’ schematic/layout. (or there may be)
Hope someone can come along and help you out, there are some very knowledgeable people in the Club and someone with a similar boat may be able to help!

Hi People,
My wife and I have just acquired a 2008 Hardy 42 "KAYOS". It's based at Island Harbor, Isle of Wight.
The previous owner has been extremely helpful in providing information and OEM documents for all the system components but Hardy's were apparently not too great at providing "as installed" pipework, electrical or hydraulic drawings when they built the boat. At least I cannot seem to locate any.

Is there a 42 owner out there who has any schematic drawings of their boat built around the same time?

I realise each boat will be laid out differently according to spec but at the moment I have had to trace each of the services (taking up carpets, opening access panels, remove cushions, drawers etc.) to locate stuff like pipes, wiring, pumps, valves, actuators, fuse and circuit breaker boxes. It would be great to have some "as built" diagrams! It took me some time to work out the heads and black water system for instance !!!

This is our first boat so any help much appreciated!

Yours hopefully,
Nick & Sue Sills
