Hi Robert, thanks again for your comments. The rigidity of the hoop is not the problem, it's one side in particular where the canopy sags. I might have come up with a solution; I have some bungee cord onboard which I bought to re-do some of the tensioning bungee balls. I've stretched a length of it from the hoop to the handle on the upright side of the wheelhouse, the one you can grab as you get onboard. It certainly looks better in that area but, I guess, time will tell.
Regards, Nick.

Hi Nick
I think I understand what you mean.
I have a centre pole coming off the centre of the wheelhouse roof under the canopy and it keeps the rear U frame nice and upright.
I use a caravan awning sucker (suction cup) at one end and an awning pole clip at the other end of the pole to attach to the frame. I use a piece of coated aluminium pipe but you can use anything you want.
Caravan dealers and accessories are ideal for these kind of things.
Good luck.
Robert

Hi Robert, thanks for your response. I do not have a centre support as you suggest. I just have the original hoop frame that tensions the canopy. I have tried to re-arrange the ball bungees, but that has no real effect. It seems as if it could do with an additional hoop just to make the canopy more rounded in that area, presenting a more curved surface to better shed the rain water..
Regards,
Nick.

Hi Nick
Do you have a centre support coming from the wheelhouse roof back to the centre of the canopy frame.
Hope this makes sense.
Robert

Greeting all - the canopy on my Pilot tends to sag at the edges causing rainwater to collect and seep through by way, I think, of the zip. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and consequently come up with a solution. Any help or suggestions will be gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Nick Askham.
