Many thanks both.

I was interested to re read the detail of their preparation of the boat, the key points being 75hp, trim tabs and considerable attention given to weight distribution.

I have no intention of circumnavigating anything with the exception, perhaps, of Hayling Island!

"Motor Boating in Fowey on a Hardy Family Pilot on PhotoFile Cornwall - Images and Information" http://www.photofilecornwall.co.uk/cornwall-xfiles/motor-boating-in-fowey.htm

I found this link, Michael, which mentions boat's name and may give you a start. Thanks, Tony

I remember a report from a few years ago where a couple took their Pilot round Britain.

Don't seem to be able to find it in the archives.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
