Hi Mark,

The best way to resolve this damage is to find out how it got the way in the first place. It could be that the end grain of the bulkhead was not sealed when she was build. The way to resolve it now is to dry out the area and see if you can carefully remove the damage varnish and lightly sand the area to get the wood to look like the surrounding area and once it as dried out seal the bottom edge with epoxy resin and re-varnish the bulkhead.

Regards

Hi all

My Bosun whilst in very good condition has what seems to be water damage on the bulkhead panels in the cockpit. What are my options for improving this? Photos to follow soon
Thanks

Mark
