Hi Robert,
When your Hardy fishing 17 was built, we used the same thickness of Perspex for all the windows in the range of boats. From memory they should be 5 mm Perspex.

Simon .

Hi Phil and Simon
Same thing on my Family Pilot. They don’t leak and I have left well alone however they are also badly crazed.
Without removing one to check, can you tell me if they are the same thickness on the Pilot.
Kind regards
Robert.

Hi Phillip,
The cuddy windows were cut in house at Hardy Marine when your boat was build. The windows were made from Perspex and were 5 mm . They can be cut by any good supplier of Perspex material as long as you take the old windows in as patterns. The rudder for the windows you can get from seals direct or any company that deals with that type of rudder profile. If they do not do it, just google Boat window rudder and you will possible found one that way. Because of the curve in the cuddy it would be not practical to fit alloy windows in the cuddy.

Hi
The cuddy windows on this 1988 boat are badly crazed and the rubbers need repacing too. Anyone had good experience of suppliers in this market? Also wondered about alloy frames?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Regards
Phil
