Werner,
There are a few things to try but is likely that you need more power.
1) Remove the auxiliary engine and stow it forward if possible.
2) Trim your engine fully down to give some lift at the stern.
3) If you have passengers move them forward whilst you try to plane.
4) When you accelerate your boat open the throttle gradually to help the prop maintain grip and avoid slippage.
If none of this works then try a propeller with less pitch.
All this is worth trying before looking for a more powerful outboard.
Regards
Keith

Hello Hardy Boat Friends!
I own a Hardy Navigator 18 with two OB engines. The weight is 210kg (50ps) and 37kg(10ps)= around 250kg.
On board are 100 litres petrol. The petrol is on the left side and the captain stands on starboard 85kg.
In the bow are around 50kg counter weihgt. My area is the german Northsea.
When I step on the gas, the boat falls down at the back and all the engine power makes a big whirlpool but no
speed. I saw Navigators with heavier engines in planing. (on video)
Can help trim clabs? I don`t like to much technology. Maybe someone can help me.
thank you and best wishes from sad german footballlooser
Werner
