Hi Jim.

Sadly - all the moving parts - Big ends, main bearings, Cylinder Bores etc - lots on the US forums. You might be lucky, but would think bets to expect damage.

The E-tec should be a revelation!

Not had a chance to test the replacement engine properly as had a failure. Discovered oil pump was blocked so engine had run without correct oil being added. Now developed a nasty knocking sound. Engine has now been removed for surgery in the garage on my home built stand. Any ideas where to start looking for problems.
On the plus side Evinrude 75 etch being fitted in the next few days.
