Hi Mike, The Hardy 17 / Navigator does not have any built in buoyancy as such. The only areas it does have that you could say were built in buoyancy is the void areas under the cockpit sole and the area under the cabin sole. Apart from these two areas there is no other areas of buoyancy in the boat. Regards Simon Papendick
