Thanks for that Gerald. Since posting my query I have also found one in Force 4's catalog - a different size so I'll measure which fits best. Regards Nicholas

Hi Nicholas, I had the same problem with my Pilot 20 and eventually found a stainless steel hatch stay (size small) available online from Mailspeed Marine which was a perfect fit, relatively inexpensive and fairly robust. They appear to be out of stock of this item at present but if you contact them, they should be able to source one for you. Details can be found at : http://www.mailspeedmarine.com/mailspeed-marine-stainless-steel-hatch-adjuster.html Regards, Gerald.

The forehatch stay on Kariba (my Family Pilot) seized up fully open last season and I was very unkind to it getting it shut in a hurry! Does anyone know of a source for a replacement? I would prefer something more "seaworthy" than the caravan type which failed. Regards Nicholas
