Thanx for your reply Damian, I`v crossed the broad lough on a rented cruised last year, boy was that hairy stuff, never again. We will be cruising near shoreline always, and into Enniskillen calm waters, any 4 stroke engines reasonable priced in your parish. Thanx. John.

Hello John, I assume you are referring to the Lower 'Broad Lough'. That being the case I would stick a 40-50 on the back. You get caught out there you might as well be in the middle of the Irish Sea! If you can avoid that a 9.9hp 'High Thrust' model of the Yamaha, Johnson/Suzuki variant will serve you well.

We would be messing around lough Erne,Ireland, sometimes it get`s a little choppy with strong wind`s, so as above, what`s the smallest 4 stroke engine for theese beauty`s, Thanx 333.
