Hi Paul, Asd a fellow 27 owner and having been one for several years this is what I do. have boat lifted and pressure wash off all dirt etc underneath. leave a good few weeks to allow hull to dry fully, then either light sand with 8o grit sandpaper or scrape off any unstable remaining antifoul, and then recoat, with whatever brand you choose. Personally I do 2 coats of Ultraspeed hard. of course you need to take a good look at the hull when the boat is out and cleaned . Check first for damage , any repairs that may need to be done, seals , sea cocks , props etc etc . If your current antifoulf is flaky you may decide to scrape it back to the hull and start again. Hope this helps
