Hi Ian hope you don't mind if I broaden this a bit to include the Pilot!!! I have a Family Pilot ('BOTI' moored at HCA Grimsby)and have tried without success to buy a radar arch for her - off the shelf models are either too wide or narrow to be fitted on the roof due to the two moulded struts that run from front to back. Yet there is a moulded flat area at the outer edges of the roof either side of the struts - I have looked under the roof lining and it is re-inforced and clearly intended for taking structures such as an arch. So I have recently commissioned a bespoke arch which is being made to my design and measurements. Why bother you might ask? Well I want to fit a bolt-on radar reflector (Echomax Midi bright orange colour), a 2 meter radio antennae and a rear deck floodlight. I fish and cruise in the Humber Estuary and offshore wrecks (where the big boys and their boats gather in numbers) -so good actual and electronic visibility and communications are essential. If anyone else wants a copy of the arch drawing then drop me a line on bert@feebs.co.uk and I'll be happy to send one. Hardy Boys Rule!! Best Wishes Jim
