Hi I have a fishing 17 and I always get water collecting in the bilge between the deck and the hull. My boat is in excellent condition and is the same age as yours and has no damage to the hull or deck. I too am unsure as to how the water gets in. I have noticed that water runs along the black rubber fender strip that looks to cover the join of the deck moulding to the hull. Maybe it gets in there? If you get to the bottom of it please let me know. Cheers Andy

I have a 17ft Hardy Fisher which is around 18 years old. It has been ashore all winter and I've now noticed two cracks of around 1ft length either side of the keel towards the centre of the hull. Water has got in from last season, I guess, as there is some sloshing around inside. Any advice on this? Cause? How to get into the hull from above? Extent of repair needed? Thanks for any wisdom you can provide.
