Hi I use a Plastimo Mini Catalytic Heater on my Pilot (Boti moored at Grimsby) - really warms the cabin up a treat and does not seem to use much gas - should be able to pick one up for £25 - £40 on the boat bits sites and can be fitted to bulkhead or free standing (not keen on that one though). As to using sink as a seat - YES use mine all the time and some lunkers have sat there without problems whilst fishing. Cheers Jim

Can anyone suggest low cost simple heating for Family Pilot Cabin? Also is the Portside Sink and Cooking area strong enough for a cushion type seat on top for passenger?
