Thank you very much Keith.
I will have a look at the Baystar and hopefully all will go well.
Best wishes
Robert.

Hi Robert,
I changed my steering to hydraulic last year. I have a Bosun with a Honda 75hp outboard. I fitted a baystar system, installation was very simple and straightforward. The system works very well. It is different in feel with slightly more turns lock to lock. It is light and easy to steer but does lack feedback. Overall I am pleased I changed.

Soon it will be time to get the Family Pilot out of bed and get it ready for the new season.
Hydraulic steering has been floating around in my head for a few years and i think now is the time to get serious.
I've had a look at some previous comments dating back from 6 years ago but what i would be keen to find out from our knowledgeable members is if anyone can recommend from experience a particular make that they have found suits best for the FP which is fitted with a Suzuki DF70.
Any advice is always welcome.
Robert.
