I'm coming round to that thought myself! I've found a 3D print model which seemed OK-ish but didn't grip the fender line particularly well. I envision that the fender could easily fall off the hanger and be lost, and at 15quid a pop..... It's the old adage, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Clove knots rule!

I had a pair of these bought for me as a present. Whilst they are ok, like you I can't justify paying for any more myself.
Don't know how good you are with knots but I'm now pretty quick with a clove hitch, in fact nearly as quick as a "fast fender".
A round turn and two half hitches for a more permanent fasten when leaving the boat on its mooring.

I'm looking for an easy way to adjust the height of my inflatable fenders to accommodate different pontoons etc. I've come across https://www.fastfender.eu and these look as a potential solution. Can't believe the price though!! Anyone had any experience of these or indeed any other suggestions?
