Can’t say for sure but looking at photos of one on the market it has new looking PSS shaft seals so must be accessible. Can’t imagine Hardy made them completely inaccessible as the originals would have required adjustment (pretty sure the PSS will be a later addition and once installed they need little doing).

Our 36 had the originals replaced with PSS by a previous owner and we recently serviced them.

Hi, I am considering buying a 21 year old Hardy 42. The stern gland located below tanks appears to be near impossible to access for maintenance. Does anyone have any experience on this/ comments? Many thanks.
