Peter, the ladder was on it when I bought it. The larger stays are stainless tube I got from a blacksmiths.

Hi Gary, just bought a Navigator, need a ladder, yours looks pretty sturdy, do you recall where you bought it from? I'd need longer stays too, did you buy them or make them yourself?

* Gordon, I actually had to fit longer stays on the ladder to push it further from the transom and clear of the tab.

Thanks again Gary. And thanks for the photo showing they fit comfortably below the ladder. A job for this winter.

Hi gary, what length is you boat? And what size of smart tabs did you fit. I seem to be i between Size 40 and Size 60 with an 18 foot boat with 50hp.

Cheapest and quickest way is to fit Nauticus sx smart tabs. Less than £200 and will get you easily on the plane with your engine. I had a heavier 50hp Honda 4 stroke on mine and 2 up planed no bother to about 20kts. Weight is of course key and I had my fuel tanks in lockers under skippers seat and my batteries in the bow.

Hi everyone, i am a new member, and new to hardy ownership. My boat is fitted with a Tohatsu 50 2 stroke. I have been advised to fit "fins" to the boat to get on the plane quicker and at lower revs.
Can someone recommend any particular ones.

Any other insigbt welcomed.

Thanks, Gordon.
