Have you tried the YBW (Yachting & Boating World) forum? There is a bloke on there called volvopaul who seems to know everything Volvo.

Hi I wonder if anyone can help please. We purchased our 25 at the end of the season and stored it immediately. We put it in the water on the 8th June and two days ago had an issue. Our engine has dropped a valve so our season appears over before it has started. If anyone knows anywhere that may have a reconditioned Volvo Penta 150 diesel for sale could they please let me know,
