Hello all
I am sure this is “The Western Union Scam”.
They will ask your price, the send you a Western Union cheque for £3,000.00 more than you asked.
They will then request you return the extra £3,000.00, which your bank after 6 days have told you has cleared. If anyone returns the £3,000.00, your bank after another week tell you it has bounced after all. Your bank will be disinterested. This is normally common in the second hand car market.

I think you are right about spam Clive. There was a James Hudson in 923 squadron (internet search) but he died in 1952!

Very similar to the scam emails we get with our B&B business expecting us to be gullible. Do not reply and just consign to the ethereal shredder.
Never had one from "Attack Squadron 923" though. Novel. Can you fit Hardys with torpedo tubes?

entitled : - boat with the Hardy Motor Boat Owners Club.
"Dear Sir/Madam,
I am James Hudson.
I have reviewed your boat for sale online advert and I am very much interested to buy your listed boat. Please get back to me with more information,including additional pictures, exact map and price etc.
I am waiting for your positive answer

I believe it to be a scam and, since it relates to the boat I have advertised for sale on here, I thought you should be aware.
