Dear members. I can confirm this boat is still for sale - I asked a couple of days ago when driving past. She is not well advertised. I suspect that she could be purchased for a very very low amount of money indeed. Well worth considering for someone with some space and time (Sadly not me). Don't be shy - she needs a loving owner! Si.

* Hi All. I have found a project Hardy 25 that needs a good home. She's a MkII boat with the later interior, and the Volvo Penta AQ151 /290 Petrol engine. The boat doesn't seem to have had much luck in her life and is in desperate need to renovation. She has had her pilot and co pilot seats and boxes removed (for some reason) and the dash messed about - but the dash bits are mostly all there for putting back. The cabin Interior is pretty original and complete, though very damp - I doubt the mould will clean up and would need new carpet and upholstery etc. (The lazarette was full of old rain water) The engine looks a mess, but barring a single carb conversion, all seems to be there - they say it's a runner - but frankly is ripe for pulling out and fitting a Volvo Diesel (You'd need to change the gear ratio in the leg for this - easier to swap the lower unit). Lots and lots of Potential - but not for the faint hearted. I'd be tempted to take her on and fit a double bracket and run with twin 60hp four stroke outboards or get a Volvo AD31/41 engine second hand - but alas no time whatsoever.... I need one of these boats one day, but I'm not allowed one yet. The seller indicates they'll take quite an amount less than the indicated asking price- so may well be worth a project / or having a really good bash at the price.
