Good Day. My Bosun's starboard locker contains the depth transducer etc. for the Raytheon ST40 Bidata along with the log impeller. This installation protected in a wooden structure. Looks as per your description? There's a drain inside this "box" to the bilges. With a screw on sea chest plug to enable removal of transducer/impeller if required afloat. Port locker flat base no drain holes, no "ship side openings." Brgds. Martin.

Hi. Sorry, I don't know the reason for this. I hadn't noticed a diffience with the Navigator, River Pilot or Bosun. Feel free to drop me an email with an attached photo of the bases. My email is as per the Hon. Sec email in the Contact Us section of the HOC website. Best Regards Simon. HOC Hon. Sec.

Hi Hardy folk, Does anyone know why the stern lockers differ from each other? My starboard stern seat locker base seems to be the inside of the hull with a strengthening half pipe running fore to aft glassed in. Whereas the port stern seat locker has a nice flat base and no drainage holes. i am not sure whether this is the norm or the reason for the this? Any thoughts woudl be appreciated to help get to know my new (to me) hardy. Kind regards.
