I'm new to the group and have a Pilot moored just down from Tuckton tea gardens (Christchurch). Would be good to meet up with some other owners and pick your brains on a few things.

This is pur first season with a Hardy Commodore 36 ("Teal"). It looks like we will have a busy programme with Marchwood YC (where we are based) and Royal Southern YC. But if we can fit it in, Dairne and I would be interested in an autumn meeting. My website is mainly about our past sailing history, but there is a contact form that you can use at the end on the 'about us' page. The website is http://www.ariadnetrue.co.uk/. Alternatively, my email is included in the list of members boats on this website.

Hi Gerald. A fantatsic idea - there are many Hardy's in Christchurch (and indeed Poole), but you're so right - very few of the Christchurch boatgs are members - and yet could benefit so well! I'm not locally based but would be keen to tow the Navigator down to visit in September time! I'll also be coming down to Christchuch in two or three weeks time for a day - so if you fancy meeting up and discussing ways to get more people aboard - I'd be more than happy too! my Telephone number is on my website: www.southernmarinesurveys.co.uk Best Regards Simon

Would any Hardy owners in the Christchurch Bay / West Solent Area be interested in a social gathering and / or a late summer rally ? I notice that HOC membership in this part of the Country has been falling in recent years and there are now only three Christchurch-based boats listed on the 2013 membership roll together with a couple more at Keyhaven. Pottering through Christchurch harbour yesterday afternoon, I counted 9 Pilots and Navigators just in the short section of river between Christchurch quay and Tuckton bridge. As a newbie Hardy owner myself (this is my second year with Hardy Pilot 'Liberty') I would find it very helpful if a local group could be convened to meet up once or twice a year to socialise and swap advice and maintenance hints and tips etc. I would be happy to host / organise an initial meeting if there is sufficient interest to take this idea forward ?
