Hi, I have have a hardy 18 motor sailor with a volvo penta 12 hp diesel. the drive is an S drive which goes down through the hull at the rear of the engine and looks very much like the foot of an outboard engine,hope this helps,good luck.

Hi I am thinking of fitting a Yanmar 1gm10 in my 18 ft motor sailer can any one give me a sum as to how the drive to back is gained as there is not a lot of room any help or advice or pics would be a great help thanks Peter.
