if your using silicone for the windows use low modulus and not the general purpose as it will peel off
look here for a google diy person on a diy forum that that thought he knew better lol

Thanks for the info,sorry for not getting back sooner. removed seal found it had been damaged reapaired for the time being , new seal ordered from sealsdirect

Hello
I had real problems and was unable to find a replacement and the window perspex on my Pilot sits proud of the opening in the hull. (I assume your boat will be the same.)
In the end I got some replacement filler band, removed each window, cleaned out all remains of silicone sealant and then refitted the existing window seal with new sealant and the new filler band.
Very laborious but it did work out well in the end.
