Mike. I read that as £666+VAT? For far less if you've the original Hardy fender try O'Pray & Sons, Wassand Street. Hull tel. 01482 323014. They'll make a polyprop.copy, a tad shorter as it will stretch more than the original EXPENSIVE Hardy one. Last about 10 years too.

We have just replaced the rope fender on our 1992 Hardy 25. It cost £6660.00 + VAT from Hardy. The previuos one lasted 10 years, so that is about £70 pre annum. Didn't think that was too bad - assuming the new one lasts the same.

Hi Mike, I need one for a Fisher 20, and although the link you posted makes very good reading, no-one actually says who the 2 suppliers are that are far more reasonable than buying from the manufacturer. Do you know who and where they are? Best Jonathan
