Hi Steve, I changed mine last year 2016. I bought one going cheap on e-bay. One thing that you should note is that American ones work the opposite way around and it doesn't mater how you wire it. I had ago myself but ended up getting a marine electrician who figured it out so beware and make sure that you get the right type Best wishes Anthony (Dark Ivy)

Our sender unit showed full, went down to half full and never moved after that. I removed the unit which required taking out the tank for access on our Mariner 25. A new unit was somewhere around 60 pounds. I got a local TV electronics chap to test the unit and he diagnosed a faulty reed switch. Sourced these on eBay and got him to solder one in. Sender now works fine. I have spare reed switches if any one needs one as they sell them in 10 s. Tony

Thanks Stephen, It's a 25 with a stainless tank fitted into the bow section. The tank appears original as it has fitted 96 penned on it. I did contact Hardy Marine but they never came back to me. I will have a look at the two suppliers you suggest. Thanks, Steve.

What is the boat , what type of tank. all senders are usually replaceable, and I suggest you try tek tanks , or asap supplies.

My sender unit has given up the ghost. Can anyone suggest where I can get a replacement without having to change the gauge or tank fittings? I have seen a device in Force 4 that is intended for waste holding tanks, but this is quite expensive. Steve.
