Ian That sounds like an excellent set up. I have just got a quote from Suffolk trimmers for the normal PVC replacement, for 565 pounds. How does this compare price wise with your sunbrella cover? Do you think Wroxham Boat Covers be able to make up another cover and fly sheet without needing another template? Thanks very much Andy

Iain, I have replaced the canopy on my Pilot 20 this year and used Sunbrella Supreme acrylic Fabric with 30 thou window at rear ( did not want windows on sides) and could not be happier with the finished article- acrylic is much superior to polyester and more expensive of course !. I also purchaseda an Aqualon flysheet to cover canopy and cabin as I keep the boat on a mooring from April to Oct in Lamlash Bay and this has been agodsend protecting the Canopy from our old friends the seagulls and the sun etc. The canopy was purchased from Wroxham Boat Covers by a method of distance learning i.e I produced the templates in polythene under their guidance and they produced the finished product. If you want more details etc give me a phone 01770 700236 yours aye Ian Bradshaw

We intend to replace the canopy and frame on our hardy pilot this winter and have obtained two quotations (broadley similar in price). One offers polyester coated with PVC and the other Solacryl resin coated/vinyl coated.Which is best? Has anybody had experience of these two materials? durability etc. As we are based in the west coast of Scotland, canopy is more often up than down!! so strength and water-proof are v important.Any advice on this? Thanks, Iain
