My wife & I are in the process of acquiring a Hardy 25. If anyone has built an enclosure for the rear of the wheel house, then I would be grateful for some advice. My email is tim@brechins-bute.com. Thank you.

Hi Allan, An MS doesn't suit I'm afraid. Regards Greg

Thanks Dominic for your response. I didn't mention that it'll be a used boat that I'll be buying and even so going to a 27 would make those doors very expensive ones indeed. Hopefully there are canvas/vinyl type enclosure designs avail and hopefully someone will be aware of a manufacturer. Regards Greg. gchatfield@iprimus.com.au

Nothing off the shelf I'm afraid. There have been a number of personalised/DIY folding wooden door closures I have seen and heard about over the years on the Pilot and 25. You could of course consider the larger Hardy 27 complete with doors to wheelhouse? Very nice! Dominic.

I am considering purchasing a 20 or 25 ft Hardy and am wondering if I can purchase a hard/GRP or soft/Canvas means of enclosing the wheelhouse 'off the shelf'. I'm aware the Regatta has wheelhouse doors but I'm not interested in the open accom set up of that boat or the river pilot. Regards Greg Chatfield
