. . .See my comments in . . . ' New Canopy for an 18 ' . Finding this up to date post very interesting . Seems Steve Wright in West Mersea is worth a call .. . Is the Regatta same dimensions as the 18 Navigator ?

I discovered that my local supplier was half the price of the Hardy original, it is worth shopping around

I had an excellent new canopy fitted to my Navigator about 3 years ago. It was made by a local specialst who also does sails. He was located in Birdhill on the N7 road between Nenagh & Limerick. My boat is berthed at Dromineer. If this is of any interest, please let me know and I'll try to find the details for you. Kind regards. Dennis

Has anyone ever fitted a Drop Down at the back of a Pilot or 24 wheelhouse? I quite often prefer to remove the full canopy, but would like to fit a drop down at the back of the wheelhouse for comfort when necessary while motoring, especially at night. I had one on a Hardy 20 M/S some time ago so I expect I could approach a cover maker and see what they have to say, but would like to hear if anyone has one fitted to their boat at present.

Ihave changed the frame with a stainless steel pipe but had to bend it myself, perfect fit. I would like to ask if somebody has experienced brown stains on the fibreglass, I did, on top of the front cabin,I tried polish, but did not work, any suggestions how Icould get rid of these staines, they look terrible INO BALZAN from the island of Malta.

Jan and I are downsizing and moving to The Tamar valley in the near future. We presently live in the Cotswold Water Park area so a move to the Tamar will go towards my wish to own a Hardy, if I can find one in my price range. Is there anyone in the Plymouth area who could give me a steer, as it were! Yours Aye Jan and Paddy LONG 01 285 861 660

Has anyone ever replaced the canopy frame of a 20' Hardy Pilot with a stainless steel frame - I have contacted Hardy but they only do it in aluminum. ?

I replaced my Pilot's canopy through Hardy-Marine directly. I am sure they stock the Navigator's too. Try: www.hardy-marine.co.uk Cheers Dominic.

As an Irish owner of an 1986 Hardy Navigator, I am trying to find out if it is possible to get a new cover for my boat. Any advice would be appreciated, ie such as how to get an original cover. Regards Lloyd Hutchinson
